Job: Receptionist

Salary: £23,000

Hours: You will work 37.5 hours Monday to Friday per week.

Main Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
• Answer and forward incoming phone calls
• Ensure reception area and office/kitchens are tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and equipment including refreshments
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
• Support on responding to and resolving outstanding queries relating to fines and charges
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, attendance, visitors etc)
• Order office supplies, equipment and refreshments
• Update calendars and schedule meetings, book meeting rooms
• Arrange travel and accommodations across the business
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties as an when required
• Other duties as seen fit by line manager as and when required

Skills and Requirements:

• Previous work experience in a similar role as a receptionist, front of office etc
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Communication Skills both written and verbal
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent organisational skills
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Customer service attitude
